During my recent stay at the House in Porto, I found a commendable balance between luxury and value. Upon check-in, the staff's personable nature was a welcome surprise, enhanced by a complimentary Porto wine tasting. The air-conditioning in our room provided a refreshing escape from the heat after a day of exploring. The location is strategic, just a few minutes from Bolhão subway station, which made navigating the city seamless. A caveat for those with heavy luggage: the absence of an elevator might require some effort. Though we didn't indulge in the breakfast option, the terrace overlooking the garden seemed inviting. The House offers well-maintained rooms, diligent housekeeping, and a helpful staff, making it an attractive option for travelers seeking quality and convenience without the extravagant price tag.
